Craft tea is a great idea and it heats up well. We use it now only during travel. I would have loved to use it daily but there are a few drawbacks: 1. The herbs/tea gets crushed during mixing process as mud so yes tastes more bitter and 2. The heat isn’t enough where the Tea could take more brew.
