Synopsis Arvind is the son of a judge while Asha is the daughter of a learned astrologre. They are in love and decide to marry, but Asha's father opposes the same as he predicts Arvind's death on the eve of marriage, if he enters marital union with Asha. The lovers decide to defy society and cheat the effect of the prediction by living together out of the wedlock. In the meantime, however, Arvind and ASha realsie that they cannot pattern an existence independent of social laws. Arvind's developing career in law is thwarted by this illegal act. Asha, now pregnant, decides to leave Arvind for the sake of his career. A forlon Arvind marries Neelam. Asha gives birth to a baby boy. Her love continues to haunt Arvind in his dreams. A twist of fate causes Arvind and his son's paths to cross without each knowing the other, but they develop an unconscious bond. Will he recognise and accept his son? What about his beloved Asha and his wife, Neelam? How will this story end?
