Synopsis: Humshakal is the story of two persons whose faces are same but they are unknown to each other. One is Vinod a honest police officer statying with his mother, wife and daughter. Other is Sunil a Criminal who is going to be hanged very shortly. Vinod's father in low is Commissioner Din Dayal kapoor, they both are fighting against terrorism. Vinod's mission is to arrest Mr. D. D. who supplies weapons to the terrorists. Vinod reaches D. D's den while chasing a police officer who killed D. D's right hand man, but could not escape. After being shot by D. D he jumbs in the water, and deases his life in operation theatre. Commissioner Kapoor, shocked with this, decides to keep his death a secret. Now Sunil comes into the picture. Commissioner Kapoor motivates Sunil to help him in discharging the incomplete duties of Vinod.
