She had come to enjoy the peace of the himalays away from her glittering world of big cities. their first meeting itself was more than a meeting. they met just as a stream meets a river, of a river meets the sea. both got lost in each other she said "you are wasting your music in the wildreness of these mountains like a peacock who dances alone in the jungle come to the cities, the world will go mad after you. you will earn millions " he replied " the peacock nether dances to earn money nor to please his audience he dances in the ecstasy of his own sould so di i shall always sing for you for my love and never go to your big glamourous cities to sell my art "while she could not make him agree to go to the cities, instead he made her agree to leave the cities and come to his world the world of nature the would of eternal virgin beauty. but both did not know what destiny had in store for them. one day he had to got the cities to sell his art so that he could pay for the marriage of his younger sister and as kamal had predicted the world went mad after his music. innocent sarju of the serene mountains become suraj kumar the matinee idol of the glamour world of stage but his world was not his world. this was a world full of jealousies, full of untruths and full of meaness and hatred, at the height of his popularity, attempts were made to murder his by his jealous rivals, although he did not lose his life but he lost more than his life his voice. his art was crushed-every thing was dark around him in that utter darkness there was steadfast in her love for him and had decided to marry him even in his present state, the evil forces could not let the lovers by happy even in his present state the adversity his love was thrown out by his own beloved humiliated and injured to the extent than he even could not speak the truth. but truth cannot be hidden forever like the morning sun truth must rise above the mists of doubts and dispel the darkness of untruth before that happens some unseen gods put the human beings to such servere tests which frighten even the angels. but the man with the strenght of his faith and love attains such heights where the angels saute his geet is the in mortal story of that love and faith geet is a song of love.
