This Tawa is made in India and shipped from CA. The description has the details about the thickness - it is 5mm thick. Made from Iron metal and 30" tawa now has handle as in the picture.

This is not a non stick tawa, so the food can stick. Cook on low heat and keep stirring the food.

It can be used to fry, it is slightly curbed. U cannot do deep fry. It can go on open fire.
