Will the Rental Service ship to me?

We are currently ship only within the United States. As we are based in the U.S. ourselves, this allows us to carry out a swift and reliable service for our customers.Our shipments are processed out of our Denver and Atlanta locations.  

How can I make sure a saree will fit me?

That is what makes a saree so seamless to wear- one size fits all! A saree is a long fabric (about 6-8 yards long) that wraps along your waist and drapes over your shoulder at the tail end. It will conform to your body and can be adorned in multiple ways to highlight (or even mask) certain attributes of your figure. So no matter your figure a saree looks great due to its layering nature. The matching blouse that  accompanies your saree will require your chest size. Check out our Blouse Size Chart for more info.

Can I cancel my order before receiving it?

Our cancellation policy allows you to cancel your order and be fully refunded as long as it requested before the item has processed for shipment. But once it is processing, it will proceed to carry out the shipment to you. 

After receiving my package, can I return it if I no longer plan on wearing it?

Absolutely, as long as the item is unworn and in the same condition that you received it in. To make this request, please reach us at support@sareesafari.com within 24 hours of your package's arrival. You will not be refunded for shipping barring any promotional offer at the time of purchase.  

There are certain situations where return may not be granted: 

• Any item not in its original condition or is damaged for reasons not due to our error may be subjected to fine. 
• Any item that is returned more than 5 days after delivery. 

Are there late fees if the package does not ship within the 5-day rental period? 

It is expected that package be shipped back to us on last day of the rental period at the latest. 

In order to keep timely flow of service, late fees will be charged $5/day for  each day past the rental period and up to a maximum of five days (max of $25 late fee). If the saree has not been shipped by the 10th day you will be charged the retail price of the saree under the assumption that it will not be returned to us. 

Can I extend the rental period?

Yes, you can! Just give us a heads up for however many days you would like to hold on to it. There is a $5/day charge that may be applied past the original rental period.

I'm in love with the saree. Can I buy it ?

How many times have you borrowed your friend's dress that you just didn't want to return? We understand that you might just fall in love with a saree you initially rented so send us an e-mail and if your rented saree hasn't already been booked for another event date we'll simply charge you the Retail price and the saree is yours to keep!

How does shipping work?

There are two options for rentals. The first option is to pick the item up from our Brampton headquarters. You can arrange a pick-up time with us. The second option is to get the item sent to you at your own cost however please ensure that this is communicated to Your Sarista so that the item will get to you in time for your special event. 

What if I damage the saree, blouse or petticoat?

Wear and tear damages which include minor stains, missing beads/stones will be covered in your deposit. However, any significant damages to the saree that will need to be repaired before another rental will be charged to you as per the terms and conditions agreed upon by renting the saree. 

Am I responsible for cleaning the saree?

No. we do not encourage manually cleaning or dry cleaning saree even if a spot stain is produced. An error in cleaning, say a reaction to the chemicals, can potentially ruin the dress.

We sincerely request that you take great care of the garment during your event and be delicate in handling it as well.
