Premium quality stainless steel dual purpose plate. Use this as a trivet in your instant pot or as a steamer plate for your stacking insert pans. The trivet has tapered rounded edges for safety. Made from superior quality food grade steel. It is sturdy, durable and dishwasher safe.
Dimension - 7.5" diameter, .25" height This plate can be used for a variety of purpose: 1. Use it upside down in the inner liner as a trivet in 6 qt or 2. Use it as a steamer plate / lid on any insert pan measuring the same diameter. 3. Great as Insert Pan separator (make sure the diameter of your insert pan is 7.5") 4. Fits well with Dubbas 3 Tier Insert pans or 3" deep pan. Material : Made from food grade stainless steel. One of the problems with the Instant Pot is that many sauces with tomatoes overheat and burn. When you cook large amount of food in the inner liner directly for example making bone stock from left over bones and meat from a turkey, it can result in scorching. This trivet / steamer plate can easily solve that issue. Just use this plate upside down as a trivet to raise all solids above the bottom of the IP inner liner and it will prevent food from scorching.
