Recipe to Try:
For a delicious tomato soup, saute the bay leaf, garlic, and onions in a pot with oil. Add tomatoes and salt. Cook until tomatoes easily mash. Remove a bay leaf and blend the soup with water. Strain and pour back into the pot. Add oregano, basil, and thicken with starch. Add a dash of cream and cook for one more minute. Cool and serve.
Add whole bay leaves to your soups, stews, meat, rice, and vegetable dishes. Remove before serving.
