{"id":67,"date":"2013-07-11T03:32:27","date_gmt":"2013-07-11T03:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.desiclik.com\/blog\/?p=67"},"modified":"2024-05-25T13:45:16","modified_gmt":"2024-05-25T13:45:16","slug":"how-to-make-mutter-phool-makhana-curry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.desiclik.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/how-to-make-mutter-phool-makhana-curry\/","title":{"rendered":"How to make mutter phool makhana curry?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An easy to make vegetarian curry that goes well with any type of Indian bread.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Green peas &#8211; 1 cup<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.desiclik.com\/aara-phool-makhana-47889.html\">Phool Makhana (puffed lotus seeds)<\/a> &#8211; 100 gms<\/li>\n<li>Onion -2<\/li>\n<li>Ginger-Garlic paste &#8211; 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Tomatoes(medium,chopped)- 2<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Red chilly powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Garam Masala &#8211; 1tsp<\/li>\n<li>Cashewnut paste &#8211; 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Coriander leaves<\/li>\n<li>Butter &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preparation<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Boil green peas and keep aside.<\/li>\n<li>Heat butter in a pan. Add lotus seeds to it and fry until light brown.Once it is fried, soak in cold water.<\/li>\n<li>In the remaining butter, fry onion till golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Add ginger-garlic paste,chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder,chilly powder,gram masala powder, cashew nut paste and saute well.<\/li>\n<li>Add fried makhana , boiled green peas ,salt and stir well..cover and cook till done.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle butter on top.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with coriander leaves and Cashews.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with roti.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Tips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve hot with Roti, Kulcha or Nan.
