In the ninth month of Hijri when holy Ramadam is celebrated by people of Islamic origin for a full month, Eid gift basket finds its importance as people send gifts to break the fast of Ramadan. Apart from the Halwa, another traditional Indian sweets that finds its place in the gift basket is the Laddoo and the Barfi which is also made with various ingredients like coconut, mawa, dry fruits etc.

The holy festival of Diwali is celebrated with three things in the land of India – Lights, crackers 'and sweets. The festivities won’t be over if a Diwali gift basket does not find its place in every house. Big or small, but a box of sweets is a must gift during the festival of Diwali. The traditional sweets that finds its place in the gift basket generally include the Laddoo, Kaju Katli, Barfi, Rava Kesari, just to name a few.
